I wanted a nas 2 bay and the qnap HS210 is ideal : space-saving, easy to assemble and install. a good buy. Perfect product for what I wanted to make a NAS with 4 or 5 disks. I hesitated a lot with Synology and in the end for a box empty there is no picture it is much better (scalable & scalable) than a synology. Unfortunately I have not had the reduction in HP but for about 210€ it is a very good quality/price ratio. Used as a sharing and backup in a small business (4 PC) Configuration, software and hardware easy-to-use. In short, a nice product, really full and overall easy to use! It's been a long time I was looking for a server like this! Strong of its 4 bays for SATA Drives (non-hot swapper) it has allowed me to create my own data server at Home. He was able to cash out multiple roles without any problem, it retrieves backups of the computers of the house, manages the cameras, serves as a Media server. Very quiet, the only audible noise is the fan on the back : you only have to change it for a silencer. Otherwise the HDD will be audible if you take the 7. 2 k or 10k rpm.
